Good News: Eskom terminate load shedding.
No load shedding for the coming week. These are indeed good news. Eskom has released a statement and promising to terminate load shedding, due to the electricity gradually improved. The statement is as follows: "The improvement in plant performance, together with replenished dieseland water reserves over the last few days as well as the increase of imports from Mozambique's Cahora Bassa to 850MW, has positively shifted system performance. The risk of load shedding remains, as the system continues to be vulnable. Load shedding will be implemented when absolutely necessary. Eskom will provide regular updates on the status of the power through all media platforms. We continue to appeal to customers to continue to use electricity sparingly by switching of geysers and non-essential lighting and electricity appliances to assist in reducing demand.
